Food Security
WANT TO CREATE IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY?
My Mother Land is in the initial stage empowers rural farming communities by improving water and agricultural infrastructure, providing training on climate-smart farming techniques, and promoting traditional small grain production, diverse horticulture, and animal husbandry for enhanced nutrition. By focusing on entrepreneurial and financial literacy, as well as raising awareness about nutrition and health, we are breaking down barriers such as gender norms and social prejudices to foster inclusive rural development. This program also introduces agriculture risk insurance, savings, and credit products to smallholder farmers, ensuring their resilience. Through our Food Assistance for Assets initiative, we prioritize districts vulnerable to droughts, supporting the creation of infrastructure and assets such as nutritional gardens, orchards, community poultry, dam rehabilitations, rabbit houses, environmental protection works, and solar-powered boreholes, truly transforming these communities for the better.
